When Riie Kira comes across Gouenji Shuuya, a bartender, accidentally when she is taking refuge from rain where he works, she decides to frequent the place in hopes of getting to know him and win him over. But it proves to be an almost impossible task because he doesn't notice her and is very hesitant to fall in love. She is determined to remain patient and prove to him that she only has his best interests in her heart. Will she succeed in her quest to win his affection or will it break her down in the process? It's the Victorian Era and a traveller seeks shelter for the night at a mysterious mansion. While it saves her from the heavy rain, it also gives her a new set of problems which stops her from entering the town she was destined for. Having no place else to go once again, she seeks refuge in the same mansion rumoured to be the home of a Vampire. The story follows her misadventures at the mansion and her relationship with its peculiar resident. [Scarlet II out now.]

This was a one-shot I wrote a couple years ago. This had been unpublished after a while as I realised it was not written up to par. However, after almost losing her, Gouenji is reluctant to let her face the same dangers again. Feeling trapped in her palace, Kira decides to go on an adventure of her own to prove she is still a warrior at heart. Will she succeed in her quest and will it leave an effect on her relationship with Gouenji?
