"Shelly Fossilian", that was her name. She was a toon created by one of the founders of the world-famous show "Dandy's World" and the educational center, Gardenview. She was a main character with a passion and specialty for archaeology and paleontology, and as a main character she had a theme revolving around dinosaurs and other prehistoric life. Despite her wonderful role and subject, Shelly was far less as popular as the other main characters. Many of the visitors of Gardenview ignored her, her creators began to push her aside, and even her own friends began to grow distant away from her. It seemed like almost everyone around her was blatantly ignoring her. Shelly was deeply hurt by this. She was upset. Although with that, Shelly tried to be as optimistic as possible even whilst having her sorrow. Then, a nightmarish being from within the roots of her mind had appeared. The nightmare told her hurtful but truthful words, and to do things that she wouldn't ever want to. Shelly tried to resist. But the more she was treated in an undesirable way, the more she understood what the nightmare had said. The combination of the blatant ignorance of her existence and the dark force within her mind had started to enrage and break her, slowly turning her for the absolute worst . . . Now, the once friendly Toon is slowly nearing to the breaking point of something monstrous, potentially bringing danger and wrath to all of Gardenview.. About story: Ps: Delilah created Dandy and Gourdy as siblings. -- An ichor infection happened, which caused most of the toons to become Twisted due to the ichor making the toons think negative and false things. The only toons that are stable are Shelly, Dandy, Gourdy, Brusha, Finn, Tisha, Dyle, and Eclipse. The Twisted are infested on floors down the elevator (no toon are allowed down there unless it's for supplies) or at least that's where they're supposed to be at, but a certain flower doesn't want to let them or the past go. A/N: Headcannons will be explained before I start writing. Back before Delilah made the toons, Delilah did not know how Ichor worked. Sure, she created it. But she didn't know how it worked, what it did and the effects it could cause. Context: this story follows the theory that Gourdy's parents were never made into actual toons. It also takes place in the future from the time the game takes place, where the other toons of Gardenview put an end to the Ichor operation and were able to successfully reform Dandy and rid of whatever was causing him to act the way he did. Followed by the Gardenview Center reopening to the public. This takes place some time after that during the Halloween season. When Gourdy's dilemma with his missing parents has resurfaced. This time however, the toons have gotten some humans on their side to help them too. Shrimpo has also evolved from his initial character to become less of a jerk and is now more considerate towards others.
