Eve gets the opportunity to venture into the supposed dangerous, damaged and poverty stricken West side with her father in search of a nurse for her beloved mother. When doing so; she discovers more than she could have ever imagined about life in the West and the notorious global phenomena.

They just say we don't understand the world and that we'll see that they are only doing what's best. If that's true, then why did they do this? The children could sense they were no good. We knew they were rotten, but we never expected what was coming......We did nothing to stop them. Our dress of innocent white is now stained with black and red of the truth that was once hidden. There is no way to wash out that stain.
