*Working on the title* This was an extra credit assignment for my analytical writing class. I want to get into writing, and I'm always coming up with ideas for books. His friend gives him a box to hold onto, then goes missing. In his search for her, his world is turned upside down.

16-year-old Tessa lives a normal teenaged lifestyle with her mom, dad, sister, and dog, cocoa. She often gets bullied for her family's work, but bullying doesn't affect her, until now. Tessa is taken in to a top secret lab after a fatal injury and is accidentally injected with some unknown substances. Now, Tessa's learning to live with what she has bonded with but knows that this is something that is not easy to hide from the world. Will Tessa be able to work with humanity after what has happened in that top secret laboratory? And will she be able to do so without losing the ones she loves most?

In a world not too distant from our own, a cataclysmic event unfolds as extraterrestrial beings from a distant galaxy descend upon Earth, their intentions veiled in mystery and uncertainty. These enigmatic creatures, known as aliens, possess superior intellect, advanced technology, and an insatiable thirst for domination.
