Grades dominate Hailey's life. She has to get into a top-tier college. Competition and pressure at her school outrank almost every school in the country. She doesn't have time for boys. She doesn't have time to goof off. She doesn't have time to hang out with friends. She has school. Many would say she has her head screwed on straight, does she? Its stressful, can she handle it? She says she has no time for relationships, but does maybe some part of her want it? Will she become a hypocrite? This is NOT High School Musical. According to the internet, a 4.0 GPA should get you into just about any university or college that there is. Maybe not the GPA itself, but throw in hundreds of extracurricular and volunteering hours and your future is bound to be bright. For Grayson Dolan, a senior about to graduate from Terrace Oak High, this was not the case. He is rejected from every single university that he had applied to. Ever had a bad exam which you know you could have aced if you gave it from the comforts of your room? or if you were allowed to cheat? 'Cause I have that feeling all the time. There was this exam I recently gave, for the exam we had to go to the center where the exam was being conducted everyone of us was allotted a PC where the web-page for the exam was already opened up in the browsers. Where do you, a normal high school student, want to be in 10 years? Past college and everything, when you have a job- where will you be? Laziness, boredom, lack of general knowledge of how to get some of these benefits, etc. These are just a few of the reasons people don't help themselves get better, and everyone has a few of them at some point or another.
