How do four ballet dancers turn into hitmen, and how do they fare when granted the opportunity to go back to dancing? This is the Four Gangsters' origin story, speckled with some chapters set after the events of 'World Peace?'. Some chapters will be more plot/lore-heavy, while others will be more reminiscent of one-shots. Enjoy!

A Macskafogó fic that in all honesty is quite detached from the original plot-wise. There's a lot of emotional drama, and some angst. Oh, and Grabowski and Chino-san are somehow roasting each other at every turn. Human AU, though this detail doesn't influence the plot significantly. Enjoy!

'"Ow!" the blond yelped. "Pissy, this lady is attacking me!" "Sumimasen," came a tired, hoarse whisper from the mouse. "And now she's put a curse on me in Pokyonian, too!" Billy whined. "I'll be happy to put a curse on you in this language if you don't shut it so we can go back to sleep soon," Pissy huffed before peeking out from under the covers. "You alive, Chino-san?"'

'"You know," he began slowly, "I get that there was basically no peaceful way out for the mouse civilization, but it feels like brainwashing all of you like that is a war crime in and of itself." Cathy's lips formed a wry smile in reply. "Don't let Mr. Grabowski hear you," she murmured before turning more serious. "But real talk now. There's some truth in that, but us cats are definitely not in a position to complain."' 20 years after the Macskafogó pacified the cats, they lose their ribbons holding the behavior-altering processors. Instead of letting chaos and terror reign again, the rodent and feline communities start negotiating about peace. That's when Catherine Safranek, a promising young diplomat takes the stage. Can she convince those in a position of power and respect that cooperation and harmony between the two groups are worth fighting for? Shoutout to @DailyDuring and @Fleur_Ink94 for putting up with random questions, giving opinions and aiding the process.

"It all started with two airplanes - the first one partially built out of her kimono, the second one issued by the Intermouse. Between fighting a Russian Blue, being tied up and trapped inside a glass jar, watching a Persian burn the results of her postdoctoral research, and being rescued by a horde of bats, Chino-san was starting to wonder if this day would ever come to an end." Like I recently told a dear friend of mine, 'all due respect to the rats, but I'd eventually like to write about the events that occurred between the bats saving the day and Grabowski and Chino-san standing on that terrace and looking about two seconds away from starting to undress each other'. So, here it is.

'"I can't remember her name." "Whose name?" Grabowski seemed to favor staring into the middle distance over providing a reply, at least for a while. Then: "I was inside her." Edlington's beverage-a little coffee, a lot of milk, no sugar-escaped his mouth and sprayed over the meeting table in a wide arc. Nielsen, in turn, was not actively choking, but he still furrowed his brows in thought. "Nick, clarify. 'Inside her' in what sense?"'
