For Thomas Shelby, her name was a silent prayer, a plea conveyed in every syllable of her name like a sonnet. River Jude Darling, was his sacred symphony and he had kept her as such even while she still strolled around the gritty district that she had never belonged in.

After the War, no one was quite the same. Even those that had stayed at home felt the strain of the fighting, the strain of warfare on civilians. People deal with change, and horrors, in different ways. For Luce, she left it all behind; for Stan, he tried to help his brothers in different ways without getting sucked into their world; and for Hal, he found himself looking for some kind of action. But what will Birmingham hold for the three of them, and how will they fit into the plans of Tommy Shelby, if at all?
