Alice has always been a kind person. She tried staying out of peoples way and never spoke up. Ever since starting eighth grade, however, Alice realizes that she has had enough. In a moment of desperation, Alice turns to the only people who could help her get through eighth grade: The bad kids.

Everyone's seen stories of happy families that come together as one. Sure, they're heartwarming, but not every family is like that. The Dawsons are nothing like that. They've got eight kids, but they're falling apart. Told in poem style by their children, this is the story of the Dawson family.

This is going to be one of my fun books. It's a short story with characters from my book Surviving Summer and it's based in grade 6. Hope y'all like it.

In this silly, rhyming story, the horse is having a tough time with his annoying animal friend, the pig. The pig oinks all day and night and the poor horse can't get any peace. So, he plays a trick on the pig and tosses him a green apple with a worm in it to try to give him a belly ache. The joke is really on the horse though, because the pig enjoys it! Braxton is a little boy with a big imagination and he loves dinosaurs more than anything. After reading his favorite bedtime story, he quickly drifts off to sleep and goes on a fun adventure to meet his new friends from the story. They teach him how to roar as they take him on this fun adventure through the dinosaur forest. In this silly, rhyming story, the elephant is having a tough time with his annoying friend, the monkey. The monkey is always "monkeying around" and is always throwing rocks and bananas at him. He's constantly bothering him and won't let him get any sleep. When the elephant gets tired of being laughed at by all the other animals and has lost his patience with his mischievous friend, he decides it's time to get even. I hope you enjoy the seventh book in the "If I were a..." series. Babbs tells the story of a young girl with autism who could only say her name when meeting and greeting people. Because of this, she was often bullied by her peers throughout preschool and kindergarten. When Babbs arrives at her new school, she meets and saves a boy her age named Jackson with autism and ADHD from a bully. Thus, becoming her first friend, as well as finding her place in a newfound community in the process.

Strangely enough, Lou insists on befriending Drew since day one, the dunce nobody in the class. Lou would usher Drew to recite aloud, wake him up when classes were over, ensure he doesn't procrastinate and finish his homework, help him study together for tests. Drew has never felt the most ashamed, and he feels shame almost all the time. Lou practically takes care of him. This leaves passersby to ponder, will this motivate Drew to willingly improve himself without Lou's complete assistance, or will he do nothing and just have Lou forever tend to him?
