Benny is woken up in the middle of the night by an ex-girlfriend coming to give him a gift. Little did he know that this gift would change his life and possibly his relationship with his girlfriend, Nina. In the Heights fanfic some of it's based off the workshop version (mainly Benny's backstory because the Broadway version doesn't give a whole lot of information).

Sol doesn't remember much about his past. All he remembers is a song and a kind voice. Living on the streets of Washington Heights makes you tough. Pete is just looking for a way to survive. When the two boys meet up, Pete discovers that Sol bears a striking resemblance to a missing family member someone in America is looking for - someone who is offering a large reward to be reunited with said family member. What follows is a journey to pass Sol off as someone's long-lost cousin, with Pete's bubbly assistant Carla in tow. On the way, they discover that maybe faking isn't necessary - Sol could very well be the missing boy. And what happens when Pete finds himself catching feelings for this boy?

(yep, this is an In The Heights AU. And the main ships are Pete x Sonny and Carla x Daniela. i don't even know what I just wrote but enjoy it anyways) .:Pete finally leaves the barrio, heading towards Chicago to have a better life for himself. Sonny follows him, and then realizes why his best friend moved so suddendly. Sonny could've gone back to the barrio and not get involved with Pete's problems..but where's the fun in that?:. Just a fic about Sonny and Pete "Atención, atención. Abuela Claudia passed away this afternoon." Kevin words still rung in Usnavi's ears. He had been the second person to her apartment, right after Sonny had found her while bringing her a soda. He had called 911 immediately and tried to contact Usnavi after, but I was too fucking busy partying with everyone else to notice. He cursed himself silently watching the stretcher carrying Abuela being lifted into an ambulance.
