Let's be honest: there's a lot of bad advice floating around about how to "hack" the algorithm or use the tags. Most of it is incorrect. It's exhausting to see misled writers. I wrote this guide to clear the air and give writers a realistic blueprint to Wattpad. I'm trying to answer all the common questions that new writers have when they start on Wattpad. Whether you're crafting your first story, or you're a seasoned writer tired of shouting into the void, this book is here to help you build a genuine and permanent audience that will follow you for the rest of your Wattpad career. There are no hacks or myths, just real, simple strategies that work. Inside this guidebook, you'll discover the blueprint to: - How the algorithm and tagging system work behind the scenes to push your book to readers. - The elements needed to make your profile and covers look professional, and that align with your genre. - The keys to writing intriguing first chapter hooks, detailed summaries, and exciting, fast-paced chapters that keep readers reading, voting, and commenting. - Essential safety tips to protect you, your account, and stories from wrongful deletion from Wattpad's website and bullying/harassment. You do NOT need a secret formula to succeed as a writer. You need the right facts. Now, let's get to work! ***UPDATES ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS AT 3:45 PM EDT.***

If you have a question about your grammar flaws and errors, you can either look inside and see which ones you know you're doing wrong and find out how to correct them, or read it all to see what mistakes you're making that will surprise you. I will not judge individual users or their stories without their permission for their work to be thoroughly analyzed. I would prefer not to do this, and I would rather you suggest a common error you see, or one that is rarely caught. If you question my accuracy on these lessons, you have the freedom to comment only helpful and useful information. If I see your comment as invalid, I have the right to delete your comment. It is not personal. I will not take the time to personally council you by replying to your unjustified responses to my lessons. Comments that are allowed are ones that actually correct my work and suggest what the next lesson should cover. If you do not agree to these terms, then feel free to look elsewhere for your grammar assistance. Sincerely, TrayC_Child_of_Mine P.S. - If I'm upset, these might come out as rants.

Here I will help you with any questions you may have about writing ranging from the correct way to punctuate dialogue to sentence structure. If you have any questions, just put them in the comments and I'll answer it! Remember that I am just an amateur, but I'm trying my best to help new writers out who might not be so well-versed in punctuation and grammar. If you disagree with something I write, then please bring that error to my attention so that I can fix it pronto. If you can give a better explanation of the concept, then by all means put in the comments so people can understand it.

No time/resources or interest in extensively editing your book? Here are simple ways to refine your book in 10 minutes tops (Using ChatGPT). It is meant for surface level enhancement that will nevertheless go a long way. It does not cover how to come up with a good story, only how to improve your existing one on a sentence-level basis (though I might do a similar book for how to write/come up with a good story). Feel free to add your own tips and thoughts in the comments (I might make a chapter addressing those in detail)
