The best grandad

This is the story of my grandads death. He was not only just my grandad but my best friend. This is a very sad story. I haven't been able to talk about my feelings, but here we go...

Today was my grandfather's funeral. I wrote and read out this poem without the third verse in it because when my mum read it she burst into tears and asked me not to read it, but I've shared it here for one big reason. Grandad had alzheimers. I was talking to my sister about it afterwards and she said that there was no point in trying to hide that he had it. It is part of my memories of him. So I decided to share on here with you, if you want to read.

So they attend the school, and damn -- that place needs some Riley and Huey Freeman. Whether it be... Riley's "menacing" influence, or Huey's "cynical" one. Please enjoy my story, a social commentary with a similar satrical twist, based around the original series. Only, it has more of a youthful, modern yet authentic flair to it. They learn from their mistakes, and damn right make sure to fix the ones around them.
