You just remember that you have after school detention so you start walking there when Grandadton throws a cream bucket on the teacher so he gets detention too. The teacher leaves the room for one minute and you feel powerless knowing The Grandadton has full power over you. You lean in to kiss him and both your lips collide. His big lips making you feel power like they were massive boats you were steering...

I never met my grandfather Ian, I know few things about him but what I do know came mainly from his friend Richard. I might have never met him but I grieve for him or the idea of him. This is a poem I wrote for him.
