This goes on for a while, I will post new chapters as soon as they are complete. A parasite outbreak has unfolded across your city. You start inside your house and work your way through the city, finding clues and investigating the parasite, hoping for a cure.

This one goes out to @Dougieisgold (grandpapa) For those concerned with my sanity, "grandpapa" is actually just a friend my age, and it was actually an accident, and "grandpapa" has apologized over and over, I just thought it would be funny to make a book out of it.

Often when I am asked about my new novel, ‘The Headmaster’s Wager’, I am asked about my memories of my late grandfather. This does not surprise me. After all, I have written a book in which the protagonist, Percival Chen, shares many characteristics with my grandfather. Percival is the headmaster of an English school in wartime Vietnam, as was my grandfather. Percival lives most of his adult life in Vietnam but is ethnically Chinese, and this is crucial to his sense of identity. In addition to being a successful educator and entrepreneur, he is a gambler, drinker, and womanizer. All of these qualities in Percival are inspired by my grandfather. I choose that word carefully – inspired. The book is a work of fiction, and is not ‘based upon’ my grandfather’s life. It does not memorialize him or recount his actions or memories. Instead, it picks up on a thread of his life, and an era he experienced.

This is about what happened in 2012 for me... kinda hard time this year but i tried to make it sound less depressing... I tried to add a little humor idk if you will catch it... my bf doesn't understand the humor but I hope you do... and I hope you like it... I could decide whether it was a poem or what...I think its a poem though... soooooo I just put it as a poem.

(lit. The Isolated Mountain of Skin and Bone) In this story, the protagonist Nikolaos and his grandfather aging time unknown due to a key device of enigmatic origin, Pythagoras, are both eccentric travelers with knowledge of many, with the grandfather slightly more obsessed with knowledge than his own grandson. Of course, that is until they hear the rumors of a slightly estranged land, "a spikily shaped land where bountiful skeletons lay" if you will, and Pythagoras goes mad over it and drags his grandson along to find out where exactly it is, what it hides, and the truth behind it. They will face troubles, of course. The rumors came with the fact that "this land of spikes and skeletons lay guarded by two dominant dragon kind, the long-winged, four-legged and shiny Goldskin dragons, and the tiny-winged, dark in color, ever-elusive Shadowbones" and, there is of course, a lack of food source, despite the appearance of wealthy hydration. This story of fantasy shall be either long, or short, it doesn't matter here in the world of Earf (Earth, but more fantasy-like, hence "f" instead of "th").
