Ever since I was little I asked my grandmother the same question over the years but never got the same response. My grandmother was very stern when it came to the rules of her house: never take the covers off the mirrors, don't go into the attic, and never be in the house unsupervised. She's strict but she cares. When I was younger I could never grasp her strange rules and vicious scoldings when I tried to get away with breaking them.
