I don't know why, but I ran. Most people tell you not to go to an unknown vehicle; but then again, I'm not most people. I knew that if I went to that van then I could get the answers I wanted and needed so desperately. Don't ask me how I knew, it was like it was calling for me. But if I went to this van I know it could change my life forever, maybe for the better, maybe for the worst. I needed to know who killed my parents. My family. What would you do if everything inside of you told you that the worst night of your life and the nightmares you are having are some how link to one another?

It starts with a little girl named Ayana her father left her mother before Ayana was even born. And her mother died after she gave birth to Ayana. So after she was born she went to live with a pair some of the only family she had to go live with grandparents. But where they lived was miles away from any village and didn't have a phone to call for help. But she grew up because her grandparents were kind and loving people and feed her well. But the only thing that was bad about living in a faraway town was when one-day invaders went into her village knowing there was no way they could get help. The closest police station was miles away so there was no help coming soon and there was no way to call for help. And the invaders did something evil they started a fire that burned down everything in the village and her grandparents died trying to save Ayana but before they died her grandmother gave her a handmade doll that looked like Ayana. Ayana tried to speak but before they could tell each other their final goodbyes her grandparents died and Ayana was now on the run.

This is a true story about my hero's

This is a poetical memoir. It's a collection of poems that I've written, since the age of 13, as I struggled with bipolar disorder, psychosis and grief. It's a story that starts in abject darkness and despair, and ends in a place of light and hope. It is my testament that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
