Jade is a student/ photographer. Her life is hectic. One summer night Amethyst tried to sneak into a Lily's Advocate concert and Jade's life is turned around. She doesn't even recognize the life she is living now.

In this short story, "A Day with an Artist," is about a young man, Landon Bartmen, who prides himself on being the class's reserved student. He believes that the specific school day, which was supposed to be routine, would be unique from all others. He wanted to make a move but wasn't sure how until he noticed the girl of his dreams down the other end of the hallway. But what will he do next? Will he speak with her?
