Grantaire Stories

Elstarkra was the daughter of Inspector Javert. He had raised her on his own. What happens when Elstarkra joins the barricade boys. Her friends at the barricade needed her help and she was happy to help them. No matter what her fathers thoughts on the matter was. Elstarkra was always a wide eyed child. She knew the law like the back of her hand, but that didn't mean she couldn't get into childish antics. A café stood in a street, she hadn't seen it before, but the mysterious cafe always appeared in her dreams. She never told her father, with him being an inspector he had a reputation to uphold. Raphael is a part of Les Amis De L'ABC, a revolutionary group fighting for the people of Paris. He knows the risk of being with them, but is willing to give his life for his brothers. It helps that both his little cousin, Gavroche, and one of his closest friends, Enjolras, is in the group. Enjolras is the one who suggested he come. But when the time is finally arriving for the group's cause, there is one member of Les Amis who just isnt as committed as Raph and the others. Marius. He is hopelessly in love with a girl, and none of them can get him to commit more to them than he is to her. It irritates him. But when he is the first one to die on the barricade, it changes everything. They hear rumours two women have killed themselves. His girlfriend's father has left Paris. This was now affecting much more than themselves. Soon, they heard one more rumour that at least a hundred more men were being told to fight to take the barricade down. They hardly believe it, but in the next battle, they are hit with such force that two more men die. Enjolras commands all women, fathers and children to leave. Raph begs Gavroche to leave, but he refuses, but is killed in the next battle alongside Eponine, his sister. Both of Raphael's cousins are dead. He leaves the barricade, but the next day, he hears shots, and rushes back. They are attacking with such force that their forces would never survive it. He arrives just as Enjolras commands them to shoot back. He runs to him, sees him fall, and feels a shot himself. He dies. The only survivor is Enjolras. For Enjolras, the past six months have been the most incredible time of his life. Six months ago, he married his best friend Grantaire. Life couldn't be any better - and then, in addition to all of the great things going on, he and his business partner, Marius (both of whom are lawyers at Valjean Law Firm), get to take the lead on one of the biggest trials of the decade. Basically just a fun, domestic, modern day Les Mis story featuring all of your favorite revolutionaries!

New York: The city of dreams. Currently, it is occupied by two of the largest dreamers known to man-kind. Cosette, a dancer, with dreams of seeing her name in a playbill for a Broadway show. And Marius. A shy photographer hoping to capture a city in a way that will captivate the globe. In a city so large, and their dreams clouding their minds, the two never imagine that their wishes will entangle with one another, and neither expects the changes to come from it. A modern AU fanfiction of Les Mis. Marisette is the main ship, with mentions of Enjoltaire. The story is mine, but the characters mentioned were conjured by the amazing Victor Hugo.

Odette Emilie-Marie de Lafayette, granddaughter of the Marquis de Lafayette, and the daughter of Georges Washington de Lafayette, an outspoken, rich, beautiful and desired young woman-she has the means to fund a revolution, a certain revolution could help the poor of Paris and bring liberty to the French people, but, the question is, at what cost? And what will she, herself, have to pay?

Death, with its inky black tendrils and malevolent tendencies, couldn't haunt him in his dreams, because blue eyes and golden hair and kind hands already did. Death couldn't strike him as absolutely paralyzed as life could, which was pathetic, if Grantaire stopped to think about it, because life had nothing on Enjolras. 'My world starts and ends with you', Grantaire thinks. And somehow, because life is cruel and a dark sense of humor apparently comes with the job description, it isn't even a lie. But Grantaire can deal. He can deal because he's dealt before and he's never stopped dealing, and stupid, innocuous things like hearts that beat too fast too loud in certain company, and thoughts that stray too far, and skin that prickles hot when you meet the eyes that greet you in your sleep, can't break a cardboard prince if he believes it hard enough.

Eloise Pontmercy is the daughter of Marius and Cosette Pontmercy. When she was five, her family moved to Toulouse to forget the memories that plagued her father's mind. But the les amis don't want to be forgotten... In a turn of events, Eloise finds herself in the café musain whilst on holiday in Paris. The café has been left abandoned due to rumors about the ghosts of the ámis still being there. Will Eloise realise why her father wanted to forget? Or will she make the ultimate sacrifice to be with her father's comrades?

How am I supposed to die at the barricades when I see my future in your eyes? Love had never been in the cards for Enjolras. He could never take his eyes away from his beloved Patria for long enough to notice women around him. At least, that was the case until the sapphire eyes of a woman from a cabaret began to consume his every thought. I am not Victor Hugo. I do not own any of the characters from Les Misérables.

One second they're fighting outside of the Musain and the next Enjolras is tugging on his brown tangles and they're kissing. It tastes like desire and anger and whiskey.
