Cold, brutal wars. Bittersweet chocolate candy bars. Sugar-coat your words. Throw bricks at love birds. Don't worry. Tears make dark ink blurry. Forgotten vows and stupid lies. Kiss of dismiss. New goodbyes. An old, broken promise.

Lyric Martin has always had it all. A perfect family, friends, and everyone has always loved her. Until one day when she is dared to jump off of a roof of an old abandoned building, into a lake at least forty feet below. Lyric's voice is permanently damaged, and her parents' send her to live with Lyric's Aunt and Uncle, who live two hours away from where she lives. Lyric falls into a deep depression, and will not talk to anyone...Until she meets Jared. A boy who will not give up on her no matter what. Will Lyric fall deeper into a depression? Or will Jared win over her heart, and change the way she sees life?

The most beautiful form of poetry in my opinion. :)

My least favorite form of poetry, but the form I most use to get troubling/weighing things off my chest.

Times have changed. Life got harder and dealing with it is the worst. From hoes in the morning to asses in the night. You can say it's just highschool. Welcome to Hazel Beach Highschool. And trust me, it's a mess.

A girl about 5'10 is on her phone until it feels like she can't breath. She grabs her throat and tries to pull off an invisible force clutching at her throat. She gasping for air that never comes and she drops her phone cracking in as she goes limp and falls on the ground, dead. *bzzz* A text appeared "Your last gasp as been extinguished"

A lone diver explores a submerged cavern and discovers a skull resting on stone, only to realize the walls are lined with countless others. As the silence deepens and unseen forces close in, the cave reveals itself as a watery tomb that never lets its visitors leave.
