In this hair-raising tale from the avalon mists of an ancient epoch--the Reagan-Bush late 1980s--a pair of fancy concert-going college men sling acid on campus, at least until deciding to go for a bigger score. When one of them realizes that the bigger the score the greater the risk, however, it turns out the deal might not go down quite as planned...

Ok, this is an idea that I've had floating around in my head for a while. This is going to be a story where females are the dominant, only women have quirks, etc. Will be Male reader First time doing a male reader(don't judge me) Will not do love interest/interests unless I get requests. Mature for swearing, extreme beatdowns

A screenplay based on my adventures going on Grateful Dead tour as a 16 year old. Based on true events but none of it is real. Format is a bit odd since the system doesn't accept the proper screenplay layout. Reads more like an epic free verse poem. Sort of enjoy it. In 1989, a sixteen-year-old misfit falls in love with a rich hippie girl who goes off to follow The Grateful Dead during the summer, so he sets out to find her but instead finds himself. Joaquin Chandler is the teenage son of a philandering father and corporate climbing mother. He has great intellectual potential, maybe too smart for his own good, and his rebellious behavior could ruin his life. When Joaquin falls in love with a beautiful boarding school girl, who is heading off on the Grateful Dead's 1989 summer tour, he decides to follow her on the adventure and hopefully find acceptance among the other misfits. He soon discovers that the madcap, roving carnival called the "Scene" is not what it seems and must make a decision before he is dragged into a dark world. In almost becoming lost, he finds himself. The sequel to this is a coming-of-age novel The Excess Road. Free on Smashwords-- https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/39547

What if the story of a diver rescuing a manta ray was the only good story about the oceans that a person from the near future could tell? In a time of plastic-clogged oceans and ecological change, what memories and stories could that person have to tell? This is my first entry for the #PlanetOrPlastic National Geographic writing contest: https://www.wattpad.com/638334874-planetorplastic-writing-contest-planetorplastic After writing it, I wanted to balance it with a more hopeful version, which I've written as a second entry for the contest, titled "Manta Night Fever", at: https://www.wattpad.com/story/169811081-manta-night-fever

My love for the Dead goes back many decades, from my teenage years. And yes I've been to a bunch of concerts, but these are more personal stories, for reason that will be clear, below.
