Great Elroe Labyrinth, a place said to be where monsters born and hunt. A dark forest filled with unending competition for very survival. For monsters, it is home and battlefield. For humans, it was path to the other side of the world or grave. And it remained like that unchanged. But deep in caves and tunnels of the largest dungeon, rose a soul that cannot move, cannot speak or hear in a way humans understood. The being that weaponises change itself and simply, slowly grows. For change comes slowly and quietly. And the world never notices until it is everywhere. Alright this fandom is kinda dyings, especially fanfic wise though this is my attempt at keeping it alive. All the art I used in the cover and potentially in future chapters belong to their respective creators. I do not own any of them (though there may be ones I drew) including the original story.

When a parasitic consciousness achieves total self-actualization, what emerges is not mindless hunger-but taste. Follow the Gravemind as he transforms from monster into philosopher, critic, and cosmic dandy. In the depths of his hive, surrounded by the libraries of fallen civilizations, he debates aesthetics with a logic-plagued AI, dances to stolen jazz records, and appreciates the beauty of worlds he devours. This is cosmic horror reimagined as performance art. This is the terror that comes not from destruction, but from being appreciated by something that eats suns for breakfast and reads Paradise Lost for dessert. A meditation on monstrosity, consciousness, and what happens when evil develops a sense of humor-and exquisite taste. Because sometimes the scariest thing isn't the monster that hates you. It's the one that loves what you've created while it consumes it.

The Flood does not negotiate. It does not repent. It only consumes. Or so the Forerunners thought. Deep within the pulsing, bioluminescent corridors of the Hive, the Gravemind-the collective consciousness of trillions of stolen souls-finds an object that defies his divinity. Bound in green leather and gold filigree, the Book speaks of a Balance that the stars themselves cannot pay. For the first time in an eternity, the hunger stops. The silence begins. "We were the blind. We were the shadows who claimed to have swallowed the sun, only to find the Light was never ours to take." In this reimagining of the Halo mythos, the greatest threat to existence faces the only power it cannot conquer: the weight of its own conscience.
