Bethany Chase has lost some dear to her heart, over months she has been in a suicidal sate. As Bethany and Zach's relationship comes closer Bethany starts to learn things about Zach that she would have never guessed.

The theme of this episodic novel is 'gravity' in both its alternative definitions - the handling of grief and the scientific investigation into the nature of gravitation. The plot - to the extent that there is a plot, as against a sequence of random events that occur in our world to have advantageous and catastrophic side effects - is secondary to development of character. It is human nature that is being explored - what it means to be human - in addition to the nature of gravitation as definitive of the behavior of our physical universe. It explores the interplay between physical and mental aspects of our being.

This is the story of a god who wanted to live among humans. But directed the course of the story when a mistake occured. Aftos Archaia, after creating a human vessel and bestowing it with his entire abilities in hopes of one day inhabiting it, found that the human vessel gained its own consciousness. As a result, Aftos Archaia could no longer inhabit the boy. Now, the boy awakens, confused, and begins to discover the world around him. He had sons with different abilities with mix of immortality, see how can they handle their abilities to live peacefully on earth and manage conflicts.
