Mabel, Dipper, and Wendy find a strange river- it's the clearest river they've ever seen, and it tastes sweet, almost addicting. When they swim too long and Stan has to come find them, finding the river in turn, he decides to bottle the water and sell it. What they don't know, is that Stan's sold water to the whole town from the Deum Flumen Cantata, Fluvius Cantata for short, and even Ford doesn't have the cure for it. _____ I just have to say, I think how they get back to being humans is the best solution of all the Monster Falls, I'm just saying. Dipper and Mabel were exploring in the woods one summer day, when they stumble across a strange little cove. Things start to go down hill fast when strange things start happening to the residents of this town--things that are weird even for Gravity Falls...

Something that hid in the shadows and would bite at anyone that was digging to deep into its plans. People like the "clinically distraught" Blendin Blandin. With one of Time Anomaly Removal Crew's strongest agents dead in the field, there was only one solution to the problem. To send his two apprentices, Dipper and Mabel Pines, to find out how he was disembodied. But in the end, not even these two time deities will be able to escape their problems with the pull of a time-tape measure.

Pacifica and Gideon decide to get a summer job so that they can earn their own money (and Pacifica doesn't want the town to think she doesn't have to work), and they end up at Bill Cipher's Mystery Shack - the only place willing to hire two 12-year-olds. While she's not an initial fan of the job, Pacifica finds a journal filled with information on the supernatural in Gravity Falls - things she's noticed since she was a kid. She has the 3rd journal and it's unclear where the other two are...or who has them, and who wrote them. Ever since Dipper's summer vacation started, he's been nothing but bored or annoyed. His Grunkle Stan, despite him being his great uncle, doesn't really seem to care for him. His sister Mabel doesn't listen to him and just goes about her day. One day, while cleaning the Mystery Shack, he discovers a tiny door. After begging Stan to unlock it, he only finds a brick wall to his disappointment. Stan forgot to lock it, and told Dipper to get back to work. At night, Dipper heard squeaking and finds mice stealing his lucky hat. Chasing after them, they lead him back to the tiny door. The brick wall is no longer there and curiosity gets the better of him. What is on the other side?

A Transdimensional Arc fic taking place roughly a week before the Northwest party. Reanne Northwest, who regrets ever coming back to Gravity Falls in the first place. Tyrone, the not-so-new guy in town who should stop poking his nose where it doesn't belong. The Pines twins, who's only goal is to solve this new mystery. Pacifica Pines doesn't know why the town of Gravity Falls rings a bell, but when her parents and cousin decide to stay the spring break with an old paranormal researcher IN that very town, she only becomes more determined to find out why it's so familiar. Her cousin, Gideon Pines, makes sure they have fun along the way, but the two soon discover that Gravity Falls isn't what it seems. * [Forest of Riddles is my own take on the Gravity Falls AU known as Reverse Falls, where Pacifica and Gideon are the mystery-solving duo and Mabel and Dipper are the Gleefuls.
