dipper pines is an only child, he was supposed to have a twin sister but she was stillborn and because of that his parents reject him so he doesn't know what love is or how to love but one day when he was 12 turning 13 his parents sent him of to gravity falls to spend the summer in gravity falls with his grunkle stan and while he was there he made his first ever friends who were like a family to him and who were also super over-protective of the little cinnamon roll.(i don't know much about the only child au but despite that it's still my favourite)
