Yes, I'm baaack. This story is set entirely in the future. I don't know where actual Grayson will be in 2021, but fictional Grayson is alive and, well, he's alive. I got a lot of requests for a future look at Grayson and Cait, so here it is. This is a sequel to Him & I. It's been two years since their wedding. Grayson and Cait haven't killed each other. Yet. But they're about to face the biggest challenge of their lives. Usual disclaimers - it's fiction (yes, I totally make this up. Not sure what that says about me, but it's true). I am no expert on any topic covered herein. Believe me. They still swear. And touch each other a whole lot. I've threatened to turn a hose on them, but they don't care. Brats, the both of them.

Luke Kennard is living his dream. He's an NBA rookie, first-round draft pick. So why does he feel so empty? This story is a companion to Bring Me to Life, Still and I'll Find You. If you have not read Bring Me to Life and Still, this story may be somewhat confusing. It takes place at the same time as I'll Find You. The same disclaimers apply to this as the stories listed above; there is profanity and although not explicit, it is very suggestive. In addition, this book contains some themes that are not present in the other books. There are story lines involving deaths, including the death of a child and there is mention of addiction issues. If any of those things trigger you, please be forewarned and message me if you need more information. Also, the medical conditions and information in this story is largely the product of my overactive imagination. I do not pretend to have actual medical knowledge of any of it (tbqh, I probably saw it on TV at some point and adapted it to whatever fit the story). Also, it should go without saying, but this is a work of fiction.

They've both been on the wrong side of public opinion. He's trying to rebuild his image. She's trying to rebuild her career. They're race cars without breaks. And they're on a collision course. Disclaimer - I do not know any of the real individuals portrayed in this story. Just a fan. A/N - This story takes place during the 2016-2017 season, and it is completely written. So, if anyone actually reads it, the updates will be pretty quick. Although some actual events are portrayed, it is a work of fiction (duh), so you will have to suspend reality in some circumstances. Also, I don't really care how old you are, but please be aware that this story contains profanity. Cait, in particular, curses a lot. I don't condone it, but she doesn't seem to care. And although it is not explicit, it is certainly very suggestive. There is also a storyline involving some stalking type behavior, so if you are triggered by that type of thing, you have been forewarned. Each chapter has a song title. My taste in music is somewhat eclectic. In some cases, the song inspired the chapter, but in others the song was found to fit the chapter. Enjoy!

This is the sequel to Bring Me to Life and Still. If you have not read those, you may be somewhat lost reading this story. Also, there is a companion story to this one called Heartless that features Luke Kennard. Although you don't have to read that story to make sense of this one, that story will have a different perspective on some of the same events that I hope <fingers crossed> will be entertaining. The same disclaimers apply to this story as the previous two; there is profanity and although not explicit, this story is very suggestive. Also, please be aware that I am definitely not a doctor and don't play one on TV. Therefore, any discussion of medical conditions or treatment is probably mostly a figment of my imagination. If you're looking for medical advice, this isn't the place. I create stuff that fits the story, because it's fiction, which means I get to make up whatever I want. And yes, it is all made up. IDEFK how many chapters this story will wind up being. Since it takes place pretty much in the present, I have to admit that I'm kinda winging it here. So hopefully it won't suck. And the updates will not be anywhere near as frequent as my previous stories.

Basically what the title says.

For those of you that requested it, this is the spin off from Still that answers the question about what could have happened if Luke went to Hawaii instead of Grayson. This story is dedicated to two of my most faithful readers, BlueDevils3, who had the idea and lillianwilson13 who seconded it. Luke Kennard was just drafted in the first round of the NBA draft. He's finally achieved his dreams. And he's got more girls than he can handle. But what if the one girl he doesn't have is the one he really needs. Grayson Allen is struggling. He's headed back to Duke. His girlfriend and his best friend have left him. And he's not interested in snapping out of his funk quite yet. He never makes things easy for himself and he's about to demonstrate that fact. Cait Callahan is hard at work training for the Olympics. But her boyfriend is flaking out on her and their relationship seems to be hitting the skids. She makes one last ditch effort to save it, but things don't work out at all the way she planned.
