Sodapop is just here for revenge, revenge on Dallas Winston. What caused the rivalry and draw from Dallas Winston and Cherry Valance in The Outsiders? What started this whole thing? How did Cherry and Marcia meet Randy and Bob? How did Sandy, Evie, and Sylvia come into play? Dallas has loved Cherry from the beginning of time. But from Sodapop and Dallas starting an unexpected rivalry about her Cherry is drawn between the two greasers. Being forced to confront his loyalties and the present, all the while trying to navigate the broken relationship his brother and him shared, James has no idea where he stands anymore. Can James manage to find his place in a world full of wealth and power? Or will he instead find a place with loyalty and friendships? (Johnny and Dally are still alive in this. I couldn't bring myself to kill them off.)
