In small town Hendersonville, North Carolina, there's a time and a place for women to open their mouths. Lydia Grace Abney doesn't care to wait on that time or that place. She walks through life without any shoes on, dirt on her skin, and wind-blown hair. Some might say she gets her classless qualities from being raised with all boys. Others say the devil is doing work in her life and holding her tongue hostage. But Lydia doesn't see anything wrong with her inability to keep her mouth shut. Especially when it comes to the ever-growing racism flooding her small, southern town. She's willing to fight tooth and nail to stand up for what she believes is right-and this particular act catches the eye of someone rather unexpected. A bookwormish girl. A spoiled, troubled heir. A love that looks beneath the surface. After the tragic death of her mother and the loss of her father's job, Isabelle and her family move to a rural town in Kansas to start a new life and have a new hope for the future. Isabelle, a bibliophile, longs for a good read and suddenly stumbles upon a mysterious fairytale book in a secret nook of the local library. That's when everything changes... When her father gets into some hospitality trouble with a bitter, rich (yet handsome) young man Isabelle has no choice but to offer herself as a maidservant to help her family. Now, Isabelle must adjust to a whole new world as a servant in a large mansion with many colorful servants and easily tempered (yet handsome), "beastly" Master Alexander Bettman, a troubled young man who is more than meets the eye. Will Isabelle be able to endure her new surroundings? What is the true reason behind the Master's bitterness, and is it possible for a man like him to come to Christ after so much pain? Based off the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, this is a story of how the power of kindness and God's word can bring the most beautiful kind of healing even in the most "beastly" circumstances.

if you're not good with PTSD or dark topics such as death/su*cide and addiction you shouldn't read this. Sorry for the sudden change in my writing style. Also this takes place in Hazbin Hotel character Angel Dust's past life, so no hell bullshit to worry about, and the begining chapters are probably going to be some backstory though so heads up for that. There may be spelling errors or punctuation errors by the way (I am dyslexic so💀) *New York accent is on purpose

Something strange has happened to the past, and now the present has changed forever. A newly regenerated, amnesiac Doctor has stumbled into a change in the timeline, unsure why she has regenerated or why she can't remember large chunks of her past. To be safe, she travelled an entire year before the aberration took place, but even still is no closer to finding out what has happened. However, the Doctor may now have help, for someone has taken an interest in her investigation. Why did the timeline change? Who caused it? Why is New York the epicentre for disaster no matter what happens? This story takes place far after all televised Doctor Who content, and is intended to fit into canon as a far off, future regeneration of the same character.
