The 1930s was a horrible time for kids growing up, it was a time of depression and little money. Families were torn apart, thousands of people died and lost their jobs, but some always managed to find hope. Two girls -Rosie and Josie- grew up together, living life with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts, but suddenly one disappeared. However Rosie, the one who was left behind never gave up hope and began sending letters to Josie, the one who disappeared. maybe her words with find there way to Josie, or maybe Josie is too far to ever hear them.

In the 1930's, a great chaos occurred for all. Money was scarce, people where losing jobs, and everyone was lost. THE GREAT DEPRESSION This was the worst time in all history to live in. The Dust Bowl was also another cause that people feared. People wished to have the American Dream, but they where only mice and rabbits to the world; Too innocent and too weak, trapped. Follow a suffering mother who does everything in her power to keep her family well as she writes her story in a series of journal entries. Will she live at the end with her family? (This is just a story that I had to write for school) The story my of the Alman family in mid 1930's Hollywood.

Thanksgiving of 1933 is a story about a desperate family that lives on a farm during the peak years of the great depression. Thanksgiving is only two days away, and they have to hunt for their food. Caused by the overhunting of wildlife, they have to come up with an alternative for Thanksgiving dinner, or they won't have anything to eat. It's about struggle and hope at the end of the tunnel through community and faith. This story has religious themes to help emphasize the time in history. One scene contains potentially disturbing visuals of hunting.

This is a story based on the series of the Wortham-Hammond Family collection stories, and Country-Road chronicles (Almost the same series; same character and made by same author). They are made by Leisha Kelly, she is an amazing author and my most favorite. If you don't know the series I suggest looking it up, I do have lots of mentions that come from the book but I do have some of my own ideas in the mix. The title is a work-in-progress.
