Merlin Emrys is a normal girl, or at least that's what she thinks . When something horrible happens, she realizes that nothing will ever be the same again.

Sabu is a young snow leopard living in the high Himalayas. His mother is abusive, but only Sabu's siblings and father realize it. Soon, Sabu is forced to come to a decision shortly after realizing his true identity. Sabu must choose between family or destiny. Will Sabu take his true place in the world or will he suffer in his abusive mother's clutches, knowing he had his chance to break free yet never took it?

His destiny could be considered for once a burden. His own powers are wearing him down.

Hugin became blind six years ago when a Great Dragon made him lose his footing. Or that's what he told everyone, including his sister. On his first field trip since losing his eyesight, he accompanies his sister on a Great Dragon hunt. She is a dragonhunter, and he worships dragons. He hopes to change her mind and career by revealing the truth of his accident, just as they lure the Great Dragon out of its lair.

Colette and her brother Merlin travel to the land of Camelot, unknowing of the ban against magic and save the prince and princess, securing their place in the castle.
