Mosyne and Virtum have been sent down to earth from the heavens in order to rewrite a law that has caused many problems over the years but when a mysterious force hears of this, it fights back and takes the life of Mosyne causing Virtum to retreat. Being Gods, they cannot simply be "killed off", so Mosyne is forced to be reborn on earth but unfortunately she doesn't remember anything, and what's better than that? Virtum seems to have no idea where his partner is.
