Along the way, two of Tom's friends, Hamit and Phil, encounter a pair of street musicians in Ireland who prove to be IRA couriers, as well as an ambitious figure determined to become the world's largest hashish dealer. The months portrayed in this volume are marked by tension, intrigue, and escalating stakes. Although the novel is grounded in extensive research into the historical context, it is a work of fiction. With her father unable to handle her anymore she is sent to Crestview, an academy for children of the gods, and for the first time she felt like she belonged but like always things went wrong when she was around but one person seemed to make everything feel alright.
