This is the story about the divine god, sailor of the seven seas. His name is Perseus, the one name that the strikes fear in the hearts of monsters. And when the new war comes, Perseus steps on land the first time, to aid his fellow brothers and sisters, the demigods and most of all, finish of the last of monsters that are yet to be killed by him. Briseis of Pedasus is a princess with a dual fate. She is the daughter of an unknown goddess and a king obsessed with legacy. A legacy Briseis is unable to continue, much to her father's dismay. As the Trojan War begins, Briseis accepts a quest to kill a man in the name of a goddess who wants glory, and if Briseis succeeds, the curse upon her house will be reversed. This is a story of parents and children, love and hate, hope and dismay as characters question if it's impossible to change the fates which have been decreed for them. Her people were simple, her culture based off survival. They would fish in the reefs for food, and drink from water collected from the rain. They had no advanced weaponry or trained warriors to fight the wars of the larger rising empires of the known world, but the reef protected them. No foreign invaders could take the free lands of her people, for no foreigners knew the secret paths cut into the reefs for access. Their ships littered the edge of her world like a graveyard of great gnarled wooden corpses. With each new addition to the bottom of the oceans, she knew more would come. The invaders sought to end her way of life, but her people were content in their strong belief the reefs would protect them forever. They would not.

What if Percy Jackson failed to defeat Kronos? What if the fates didn't like that outcome and decided to intervene. The fates have placed Percy in the hands of the Romans, in the hope of a better future.
