Lance doesn't like to talk about what happened. How could he forget, when no matter where he looked they were there. When he closed his eyes, he could see their claws. When he held his baster, he felt their teeth. Worst of all, he saw them. In all of his friends faces. He was just really good at hiding his feelings. Maybe a little too good. He gripped his gun tighter. His demons... He could get rid of them now. Forever. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Gone. He could feel a pinching in the back of his neck. He lifted the gun. He prepped it. He got ready to pull the trigger. But he hesitated. The smallest one was coughing, a flower falling into its palm. For the first time, he noticed it was crying. It looked up at him and he knew he couldn't. It wasn't right. He had seen those eyes before. "No." He muttered. "No, I can't." The pinching in the back in his neck turned into more of a stab. He gasped and brought his hand up to his neck, and felt the small square bump, pulsing at the base of his scalp. He had to get rid of the pain. He saw the knife on the ground by his feet. The knife with the strange indigo/violet symbol. In a swift motion, he picked it up. And despite their screams, stabbed himself in the neck.

Hi! I'm 16 and this is my very first fan fiction! This is a Voltron Legendary defender fan fiction based off of season 3 episode 28. If you are watching Voltron and haven't seen this episode or plan to watch then I suggest you stop reading this as it has spoilers. You know how in this episode Voltron enters a new reality? Soon the talk in the halls about it became murmurs and before long those mumbles became silence as people moved on with their lives. Well, all except those who refused to accept the words fed to them. All except Flora Yavet. There was an itch in her mind and a fire in her soul at the very simple fact that nearly no information was given out about what had happened from the Garrison had answered even an inkling of the questions that the families and loved ones of the Kerberos Expedition members. She wasn't going to just sit in silence, listening to the lectures of her professors at Galaxy Garrison, no. She was going to find answers to her question, and she wasn't going to stop at any walls. after the great sacrifice of both Princess Allura and the former Empress Honerva, Altea was once again recreated garnering peace within the universe. Pidge returned to Earth together with her family, and Shiro finally got married. Keith returned the peace and strengthened the alliance between the Galra Empire and the rest of the galaxy. Hunk became the master chef that binds all the other alien species together for a meal. Lance however, stayed in the new Altea. He surrounded himself with the things Allura loves and became an Altean himself after the princess passed on a few of her quintessence to him before her own destruction. All was well at the moment. Lance was finally getting the hang of things and accepting that Allura, the love of his life is gone. He finally moved on with his life and maybe learn to love again. Everything was going well... or so he thought...
