What follows are the contents of a journal I found while exploring my neighborhood park. It was lying at the bottom of a storm drain in a pile of ash. Despite extensive charring, most of its contents were still legible. The writer had scrawled a single sentence on the journal's cover: "If you're reading this, light a match, drop it on the book and run the other way."

so, this story is about how mike and ryan got together. mind you this was made by a 14 year old so like spelling may be shit and my grammar isn't that good buuttt! I think this story is really heartfelt. like soul touching. mostly because this is a gay love story between a green man and a normal looking man who has slept with your whole school. and probably your mom. just some faxx you might wanna know: I wrote this on snapchat, I sent it to myself. I made this over the course of 2 days and have been thinking of posting it here but was scared to. mikes dad is abuseive. physically and mentally. ryan and his sister are broke and live in a apartment. mike and his mom & sister live in a trailer. mike has a stutter. in the future he goes to speech therapy but he doesn't do that till he's 21 and he's 16 in this. btw both mike and ryan are 16. The cover is drawn by me. And I am gonna have to add words to the cover later. The cover may look a bit crusty but that's bc I drew it on my laptop and I had to email it to myself. k that's all....love you- bye-
