By magic, I mean real raw magic that you find late at night nestled in the swaying grass that digs its roots into the deepest part of your identity, until you realize it's been with you all along. Magic that's hard to control and takes time and effort to control and perfect. The energy in the people around you, the energy in the buzzing street lights and the humming railroad tracks. Magic that flutters in your chest like a caged bird when you bite your tongue. Magic that bursts out in spouts of anger, magic that you can cook into pastries and pies. This is the story of a girl named Maxima and her new partner Raine. As they go on wild adventures, while discovering the mysteries of their city, they learn about love and accepting themselves, after that, everything else falls into place. ~ HI!
