Jay Halstead's son is missing. What happened to him and will Jay find him in time? (Jay/Erin/OC)

How did Jay Halstead acquire the nickname Chuckles? A character study inspired by season 2 episode 17 'Say Her Real Name'. Also posted on Fanfiction.net and AO3 under my username ChinVilla, which sadly is already taken here.

Jay's best friend Greg Gerwitz (AKA Mouse) returns from the Army Rangers to visit. Their visit gets cut short before it has a chance to start when Mouse goes missing. Jay puts his own life on the line to get him back. I don't own the characters or any part of the show. I'm just a huge fan! This takes place after the season 8 finale.

Jay finds out that Erin has left for New York and his life spirals downwards from there but how long will it take before Erin's comes back to rescue him.

After a tough case the whole intelligence unit wants to go home and get some rest but then Jay gets a phonecall from Mouse saying that they need his help to solve a big problem. The whole unit decides to tag along and help solve the problem from Jay and Mouses past.
