When Jacob Holloway returns to Fox Hollow after six years, he expects to confront grief and family wounds - not the inlet that seems to recognize him. Drawn back into the town he fled at eighteen, Jacob uncovers Tom's hidden research on strange tides, lights, and a hum beneath the water that responds only to him. With Aiden at his side and the town's quiet witnesses surfacing one by one, Jacob realizes the inlet has been waiting for his return, remembering what he tried to forget. As the truth of that night rises, Jacob must face the presence beneath the water and the life he abandoned - and choose whether to run again or finally belong.

Picture this. Your parents die.... and you have to take care of your younger brothers. One is a typical 13 year old with grief and the other hasn't said a word since, (the doctors says it's normal but I'm not buying it) πŸ˜ƒ

Quite literally the ramblings of a lunatic I am that lunatic A lunatic who can't stop writing Or feeling Or testing the limits of my soul. I prescribe to the belief of "what is the point of making art if you don't share it with someone" so here I am, sharing my art. It is often sad, annoyingly philosophical, and frequently dramatic as most poetry is and as I always am. do with that what you will :) πŸ… #1- Depersonalization- Jan 1, 2026 #1- musings- Jan 6, 2026 #2- greiving- Jan 3, 2026

"Need anything else?" He asked, his Irish accent making itself known. "No dear" A fairly aged, feminine voice said weakly. Liam's mother had never been known as the lazy type. She'd always been up doing something. Whether it be cleaning, working, or taking care of him. Now, she had been bedridden. Liam felt as though someone had came in and turned his life around. He was the one caring for her. Jump into this story from the perspective of more than one person. Fictional of course, but based off of something true. With exceptional changes to location, names, age, and slight situational changes. There may be more situations, such as switching to a completely different family. Those would be something I've never experienced, but could assume how it would play out. I hope you all enjoy!

    * * It felt like a Serpentine fang twisting in my gut as I watched tears stain her face. "No more hiding, no more lies!" Harumi's voice cracked, each word a shard of glass. "Rumi, we can fix this," I begged, the plea falling flat. Her eyes, twin infernos, seared into mine, reflecting a torment I couldn't comprehend. "Don't you get it, Lloyd? This is who I am now! Why couldn't you love *all* of me?" "I do, Harumi! I do!" The words choked in my throat, desperate and raw. But she recoiled, flinching as if burned by my touch. In another life, she wasn't crushed by rubble. Now, she's buried herself so deep, she's a ghost. Fate, or perhaps misfortune, led me to her - living a new life, masked in secrets. Now I'm torn: expose her, or at protect the ghost of the girl I loved? But beneath the surface, a flicker of hope remains. A chance to piece her back together, to love *all* of her, if she'll let me. Maybe I'm a fool chasing shadows, but what's Ninjago without a little heartbreak? (Also, on Ao3)
