Sam didn't break eye contact. "Say it," he said, firmly. "Sam-" I stuttered. "Say it, Astrid. Say you don't love me, and this can all be over," He breathed heavier with every word. His voice was on the brink of cracking. He sucked his bottom lip under his top teeth. "Stop," my voice was low and shaking. He closed his eyes and dropped his head. I closed mine and let my tears vibrate my body with a pattern of panicked breaths. I opened my eyes quickly when I felt his movement. He looked back into my eyes with tears flowing down his cheeks. He put his palms on my cheeks and kissed my forehead. He rested his forehead on mine for a quick second, then glanced back into my eyes. "Goodbye, Astrid,"

ruth mckay is ronnie's bestfriend. it was only fair that ronnie invited ruth to stay in a cabin with the kiszkas over 4th of july. ruth has always liked josh. it was almost sickening how much she liked him. except, she can't even fathom the idea that josh may like her back. how is she supposed to act while she's in close proximity with him? this is meant to be a short read. if you're looking for something longer, check out my other josh book! and, im not exactly sure how to end it. so, the book is basically done, no cliffhangers. all it's missing is an epilogue :)

The Long Dark is a fan fiction about the band Greta Van Fleet, based off the game "The Long Dark." Surviving a plane crash, the boys struggle to survive in the Canadian wilderness in an abandoned, post-apocalyptic wintery wasteland called Great Bear. Due to the harsh weather, and seismic activity, it has rendered the place unlivable. This is where the challenge of survival lies. (Story concept and characters are based on a game and real life people.)
