What if Derek and Meredith had been married before her internship at Seattle Grace? ↠ I know this story has been done a thousand different times but I really like the concept of them so this is my take on it.

All Delaine Sheppard has ever wanted is to help people. She quickly discovered that the best way to do that was to become a Doctor. Or, more specifically, to become a surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital. It just so happens that her older brother Derek, who was already an Attending, has transferred to that very same hospital. Any chance Delaine had at being taken seriously is out the window, and she is going to have to work double time to get it back. But, at least she's found some friends in the other intern's to keep her sane. More specifically...George O'Malley.

Meredith is a senior in high school and Derek is a 21 year-old first year teacher. (Ik that 1st year teachers are usually 22 or 23 but for the sake of this story just go with it) one thing They did not expect, was to fall in love.
