Immediately after the plane crash aftermath, Seattle feels like a graveyard for Meredith and Derek. Every hallway reminds her of Mark's laugh, Lexie's smile, or the way her world almost fell apart. Derek's hand is healing slowly-but the fear of never operating again is eating him alive. When Derek's mother visits and sees how fragile they both are, she gently tells them: "Come home. Let us carry you for a while." So MerDer packs up baby Zola and leave Seattle for the Shepherd family home in coastal Maine-where Derek grew up, where there are no ghosts, and where his sisters can take turns helping with Zola.

This is season one of Grey's Anatomy but rewritten by me. Why did I rewrite it? To get rid if some plot holes, fix some story lines and make them better, add some mystery, and last but not least...to use conspiracy theories to bring back Derek :0
