Isla is a transfer attending from California. She's like her own Cristina Yang. She's a Peds surgeon and she's been assigned to working in the burn unit with Dr. Avery. She revisits her past and catches up with the new faces at the hospital, but while she rejoins the chaos that is Grey Sloan, the secrets of her time away start to rise to the surface.
