In this story Mark and Derek died in a plane crash and Christina moved to Switzerland and Alex moved for his job in Hopkins and the third generation interns Jo,Heather,Leah,Shane and Stephanie joined during season 14 where Meredith is head of general, lexie and Amelia are co heads of nuero and Maggie is head of cardio.
