He struck in the dead of night and slaughtered the Cousland soldiers and trapped Thatcher and Olivia in a cellar before catching it on fire. Andrew fought bravely to save his parents but Howe had other plans, he challenged him to a duel in which the young Cousland accepted. He was trained at a young age to wield all different kinds of weapons. But his biggest mistake was thinking Howe would play fair, Howe saw that he was getting beat so he told his men to rush him. When they grabbed him Howe took the Cousland Family Blade 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 and shoved it through Andrew's abdomen and left him to die. But Howe forgot one small detail, The Cousland's were entertaining a Grey Warden Commander, Duncan. Duncan found the young Cousland barley alive and took him to a mage to heal him. Five strangers are chosen by fate to unite the shattered lands of Thedas and slay the Archdemon, mankind's ancient and deadly for. But to do so they must first join the legendary order of guardians, The Grey Wardens. Will they be able to save humanity or will the Archdemon destroy the world.
