The world has been under attack since the dawn of time by creatures so ancient and vast that human language has never found a word adequate enough to describe them beyond Old-Ones. Fortunately, humanity's greatest magical bloodlines have been handling the situation quietly for centuries, and everything is largely under control on another copy of Earth. Love Bellthorn cannot see why any of this concerns her. She has no magic. She is, by every measurable standard, completely boring. Her brother was the one summoned by the Order to go There and deal with it. Love had plans. Little ones like, finish, or not finish, her degree. Maybe get a car, a better boyfriend than the last one. Then a car fell out of the sky and crushed her brother beside her. The Order would like to express its condolences. The Order would also like to remind Love that the paperwork had already been filed, the plane is waiting, and six strangers from across the world will join her on board. She has one bag with non-magical items, as if she had any to start with. She has absolutely no business being here. But something is wrong with Love Bellthorn. And by the time anyone notices, it is already too late. Better to die Here than There.

Ella, is a twelve year old girl in the 1800's follows a voice in the deep woods, after her family moves to Salem. She finds three girls that give her grave power. Ella must keep her powers hidden or herself and her family may die.

Delta, being the smart AI that he is, knew that Project Freelancer was going downhill fast. He liked York, and wanted him to live through that monstrosity of a project. So, when York "died", he left a parting gift that kept York alive. Then Delta went with Wash, and you know the rest of that story. But York woke up. He wasn't dead. York always tried to find out what happened to the Project and the other Freelancers. Namely an aqua colored soldier with green eyes and daddy issues. But he could never find anything. It was like they all disappeared. So he moved on. Painfully, but he managed. He fell in love. Got married. Had a son. Now that son is 12, and a New War is brewing with the Covenant. Without Project Freelancer, Earth doesn't have the super soldiers it needs to defeat the Covenant. So a new project is formed, one for younger kids who will ideally grow up learning combat techniques and can eventually truly be called super soldiers. York never actually told his wife the whole story of his time at Project Freelancer, and who can blame him? So although it's no surprise that he doesn't want his son enrolled in this new project, his wife thinks she knows best and enrolls him anyway. But because she didn't know the whole story, there were a few minor details that she missed that would have made a difference. Like who the new director is. Carolina never moved on from York. She kept thinking that his death was her fault, all the Freelancer's deaths were her fault. She met up with Wash and the Reds and Blues to stop the Director, and then they had their adventure on Chorus. After that, they all went their separate ways. Some got married and had kids. Some didn't, Carolina being one of those few. Instead, she devoted herself to the army, and when they announced they wanted a new project, she was the first to volunteer. When she saw York's son, she almost had a heart attack. Imagine her surprise to see York himself chasing his son. It's gonna be a long ride.

Some relationships were built by blood. Theirs was built by survival. If the world ever ended-if buildings crumbled into dust, if streets emptied and silence swallowed cities-Aarohi believed Meera would still wake her up on time. She would scold her for sleeping too much. She would complain about responsibilities. And somehow, impossibly, she would still find breakfast-even in ruins.
