Finney Blake is nothing short of a social experiment. With a horrible school life and a home life that doesn't stray far from it, every where he goes becomes a place of darkness. Though, in his senior year of high school, the last year he had to endure before packing away and running from this horrid life...he begins to doubt those plans, as he begins recieving attention from people he'd least expect it from. In Finney's last year of high school, he begins to make friends, friends that may have deeper intentions then being just "friends" with the timid boy.

Bruce Yamada is the perfect baseball player from North Denver. Perfect grades, perfect friends, perfect upbringing. When assigned to a project with Vance Hopper, the careless and reckless rebel, Bruce finds it impossible to not keep getting to know him more and more, peeling back layers of their past, emotion and acceptance.
