~Completed~ Gavin meets a guy at the library where he works and soon falls for him, but he doesn't want his brother and sister, who he has been raising for 2 years, to feel like he's abandoning them. Basically a whole lot of denial until Meg sorts them both out. ~Side note - Gavin's parents die at the beginning which is why he has to look after his siblings so if mentions of death upsets you then reading this probably isn't the best idea. So I was asked by the lovely Holly7532 to write a fic for an idea she had and I have done just that so I hope you all enjoy it and Holly I hope I have done your idea justice Basically Geoff and Griffon have adopted Gavin, Ray, Jeremy, Ryan and Michael who have all had shit pasts and happy things happen. Geoff and Griffon Ramsey have decided, even though raising Millie was tough, that they wanted more kids. So, they adopted Michael Jones, Lindsay Tuggey, Gavin Free, and Ray Narvaez Jr. With the help of Ryan Haywood and his boyfriend Jack Pattillo, they raise the children. And their childhood will be one hell of a ride.

So I read this fic ages ago but it wasn't complete and it hadn't been updated since 2014 and I really want to finish it so I decided to finish it myself, however, all credit for the idea and the first chapter goes to jaeparker on archiveofourown and their fic was called 'your graduation'. This is their summary: Michael and Gavin grew up together. Inseparable. best friends for life. Until One day Gavin just stops talking to Michael entirely. Right when Michael needs his best friend most, he's gone in an instant. Gavin leaves Michael to deal with school, growing up, and the loss of both of his parents alone. I in no way claim any credit to the idea of this story, however all writing from chapter 2 onwards is entirely my own and I also edited the first chapter but the ideas are all based on the original story. The butterfly is a unique creature, beautiful and harmless. They can take many shapes and forms and some may not be as harmless as you think. Maybe this butterfly isn't one quite yet, maybe it's a caterpillar chewing its way through the leaves. It seems harmless enough but causes just enough damage. Maybe the caterpillar isn't an insect, but a person. A person who has the capability to destroy, not by choice, but by nature. The caterpillar can flourish into something beautiful given enough time. But this person has had plenty of time, some may say too much time. He has learned, and wanted, and helped, and hoped to become the butterfly. You might not know if a caterpillar might exist, unless you see it. Unknown to its existence. No one knew this caterpillar existed, well, no person knew. He's unique in that way. Rooster Teeth has many butterflies within them, and a few caterpillars. This caterpillar might cause some damage along his path, hurting others in the path to a butterfly.
