A oneshot book for my otp's (I ship stuff other than these, but this is an otp oneshot book, so I'm only writing stuff about my otp's)

This is a grillster story (Grillby x gaster) meaning its YAOI/ BXB if you dont like it then don't read it

Gaster has been shattered, the pieces of his soul scattered across time and space. He is lost to the void, forgotten. The emptiness is menacing, taking any memories and twisting them. But one thing comforts him in this empty, cold place. The name of a lost lover, and warmth that he could no longer feel. But being in empty space for so long can do something to a person. Will Gaster be able to gather all the pieces in time? Grillby has had a feeling of... emptiness. Ever since Frisk freed the monsters from the underground, the feeling has grown stronger. There should be someone here with him. Someone very close to him. When two pieces of reality collide, he remembers. He has lost something he desperately needs back. I couldn't help but remember, the memory striking my whole being. Something in my life made me forget. He was my friend. He then died a painful death, falling into the CORE. How can someone tell me that there's still hope that he's alive? It explains the dreams, the voices... and even the boney hands that held my face. I couldn't believe it; it all fit together. "Grillby, get up." Gaster's voice was insistent. Grillby rolled on his side and opened his eyes, only to find Gaster's face hovering less than a hands width form his own. "You weren't sleeping yet, were you?" Gaster asked. "Not for the lack of trying-" Grillby stopped, placed his hand on Gaster's forehead, and gently yet firmly pushed the other's skull out of his personal space. "You can't sleep yet! It's the summer solstice!" Gaster grinned wide. "And what's so special about the summer solstice?" Grillby asked, propping himself up. Whatever it was, Gaster seemed excited about it. "It's Midsummer, Grillby! We've got to go do Midsummer night's magic!"

Excluding the most important holidays, there was only one other day a year that Grillby's was closed. If anyone actually looked inside, they would see Grillby sitting alone at the bar, his flames dim and with a picture pressed against his chest, reminiscing about a bittersweet past. No one would know why, but that was because everyone had forgotten the man Grillby had fallen in love with: W. D. Gaster.

It's Gyftmas, and Gaster decides to combine his renowned engineering skills and his much less impressive baking skills to make Grillby a gift that is truly special. Sans and Papyrus "help".

"You know, we've met before, actually." Gaster said, careful to keep his tone casual. Grillby looked up from the glass, and studied Gaster's face. "I don't... What did you say your name was?" Grillby said slowly, unsurely. "Gaster. I'm doctor W. D. Gaster." Royal scientist, father of Sans and Papyrus, and your goddamn lover! Not a flicker. Not a spark. Nothing. "I don't..." Grillby slowly shook his head. "It's alright." It took Gaster everything he had to keep his face even. To keep himself together. "It was a very long time ago. I'm not expecting you to remember." If you are sensitive to these things, do not read! 2 years ever since the monsters have been free and living in a city with humans. W.D. Gaster has been free from the void and has a stable life, at least, that's what everyone thinks. He is hearing voices and refuses to tell anyone. Grillby the bartender has been having huge success with his business but is having trouble finding some co-workers. Only for a night of talking did they change each other's lives. But they don't know why they're lives, and intentions are changing. It might be a match made in heaven. But it can also be something that might make the alliance between monsters and humans crumble. (Yes I made the cover.)

So, disclaimer: I don't write a lot, that said, it might suck... I'll try, tho... I just saw this picture and wanted to write something for it... But enough about me...Lets get to the story. Gaster and Grillby were wandering about Waterfall when Gaster began to mess with his magic. He "accidentally" made something go off and him and his crush, Grillby, fused. Me: look at the mess you made G... You should of just asked him out...
