Gaster and Grillby are both unsure of what they would do if they lost each other, but they are soon to find out.

Once upon a time, there was a knight made of fire travelling the land. One day he came across a distraught village, and was asked to slay a terrible beast that had been plaguing the land. So he travelled to the Forest of the Forgotten, and found not only the beast with the skull of a dragon, but also a mysterious doctor with a few secrets of his own. Gather round, for this is a tale of bravery, love, and a curse most fowl.

If you are sensitive to these things, do not read! 2 years ever since the monsters have been free and living in a city with humans. W.D. Gaster has been free from the void and has a stable life, at least, that's what everyone thinks. He is hearing voices and refuses to tell anyone. Grillby the bartender has been having huge success with his business but is having trouble finding some co-workers. Only for a night of talking did they change each other's lives. But they don't know why they're lives, and intentions are changing. It might be a match made in heaven. But it can also be something that might make the alliance between monsters and humans crumble. (Yes I made the cover.)

"Grillby, get up." Gaster's voice was insistent. Grillby rolled on his side and opened his eyes, only to find Gaster's face hovering less than a hands width form his own. "You weren't sleeping yet, were you?" Gaster asked. "Not for the lack of trying-" Grillby stopped, placed his hand on Gaster's forehead, and gently yet firmly pushed the other's skull out of his personal space. "You can't sleep yet! It's the summer solstice!" Gaster grinned wide. "And what's so special about the summer solstice?" Grillby asked, propping himself up. Whatever it was, Gaster seemed excited about it. "It's Midsummer, Grillby! We've got to go do Midsummer night's magic!"
