During the Department of Mysteries battle, a damaged Time-Turner explodes. Instead of sending Harry back, it drags Regulus out of 1979 and drops him into the battle itself. There will be some changes in this story: Harry, Ron and Hermione already know about Horcruxes even though it is only their fifth year. Voldemort knew Regulus had took the Horcrux and betrayed him.
