Fairy tales are a bunch of bull crap, or at least according to Snowy Grimm. After all, life doesn't include true love's kiss, magic, or happy endings. Those are just for lucky people. And Snowy knows that better than anyone. After all, she lost her mom when she was four and her dad died last summer. But of course the lawyer wouldn't let her move in with her grandma, so she has to stay with her stepmom, Trina, who has a Covergirl face but a burnt-marshmallow heart and is always out to get Snowy. When Snowy manages to escape to a sleepover with seven of her best friends, Trina just has to let her be. Right?

Others of the first type include Cinderella, The Sharp Grey Sheep, The Golden Slipper, The Story of Tam and Cam, Rushen Coatie, The Wonderful Birch, Fair, Brown and Trembling and Katie Woodencloak. Other of the second type include The Twelve Huntsmen, The Two Kings' Children, and Sweetheart Roland.
