This is a journey about a potential reserved moth in the land of Hollownest named Ruby who chooses to follow her own light (in a more metaphorical sense) instead of following Radiance or any higher being. Through pain, trauma, love, fear, attachment, writing, and defying God, Ruby goes through many stages in her life until the Grimm Troupe becomes her permanent home. But is it truly home for her or just a way to feel more powerful?

The Radiance is gone, but the peace of Hallownest is built on a pile of silent sacrifices. An outsider arrives, drawn to the depths of the Abyss not by power, but by a consuming sorrow for the lost Vessels. Working with the ancient Mask Maker, this figure initiates a forbidden ritual: to give the Void Siblings new masks, new bodies, and a second chance at life. But peace is fragile. The Kingdom's deep past, a sudden kidnapping, and the return of a cursed Dream Weaver threaten to shatter this fragile hope. This is not a story of gods and kings, but of broken hearts learning how to love, create, and choose their own names. The Return is complete. A Hollow Knight story that is sort of an AU with bits that I have deduce through observation of the game and its lore and some new things that are my own headcannon.

As a young girl with her whole life ahead of you, being forced to marry and be nothing more than a housewife was never part of your plans. With the gift of a beautiful voice, and the passion to be a hero you dreamed to have more than just a simple life. Though already engaged to a young grasshopper by the name of Yirel, you both have moved to The City of Tears to fulfill his dreams. When it all seems so bleak, you catch wind of red tents appearing on the other end of the city that links to an old tale long before your time. When you start taking interest in the tents, your life begins to slowly change. Your dreams to be a hero are not yet lost as you start to see yourself as part of a bigger picture. Dreams are dangerous, but maybe you could change that.

-Hornet- The little ghost has defeated the infection. I must say I was also quite surprised as I expected the infection to last longer against the little knight. Well, it isn't that the infection is too weak. It's that Ghost is too strong. However, with a battle with the final boss, there were bound to be consequences. After the Knight had finished the fight, it's shell broke, it could not handle the void it was containing, therefore breaking after the Ghost defeated the infection. Because of the mask breaking, and also Ghost refusing to go to the mask maker as it, from now on, wanted to live in peace with it's fellow siblings. However, I had craved for adventure. I had already done everything I could have possibly done in hallownest. Performed with the Grimm troupe, sparred with the Beast Tamer, and remove the remaining infected. I guess you could say I was a little desperate. However, there were news that the winds blocking us from escaping this now fixed land, had vanished along with the infection. However, everyone had already just wanted to stay in hallownest and live peacefully. My brother, who is the one 'Father' chose to seal the infection, decided to guide hallownest to the right path, therefore leaving me with nothing to do, but to leave. ~ Note from the Author: I will try to make their personalities as canon as possible as it's more better that way for me. Hello everyone and welcome to my first ask book, where you get to ask the main cast of characters within Hollow Knight anything you'd like! This book is just for fun and practice, so please do not bring any hate to it if it doesn't fit with the actual game much, but anyways, I hope you all enjoy and have a blessed day! <3

The tall, silent bug lowered himself to the fiery gaze of the troupe master. He sighs, a warm breeze of air hitting the bug. "Tell me your secrets, my love. Tell me everything." He breathes, letting the taller bug hold him in a cold, yet warm embrace.

You are a young woman who has never been able to remain happy while fighting to gain the approval and joy of others. Then again, who can do that while having two parents who are divorced and have different mindsets? While your mother and father never really could get along, they did have one thing in common and that was to have you follow their dreams by studying a major you could more or less say you hate with a burning passion. Though when you are making your way to your classes in the early morning of mid-January, you have to fight against the hazardous snowy weather of the North East. It isn't until you are driving on the highway when you lose control of your car and you begin to hurdle head-on into oncoming traffic, causing you to accept your fate and assume life as you know it is over. When you awake you begin to learn that you are not where you should be. Instead, you find yourself in a whole new land called Hallownest. You cannot tell if this is Heaven, Hell, Limbo, or possibly your new life, but those you meet along the way in this new land are willing to help you return home. Even as you are met with a tall figure who understands your passions. To be who you are and to accept it is one thing, but to follow and act on your dreams is another. Will you follow your way through the sick infected paths of Hallownest to return back home? Or is Hallownest your true home in disguise?

Multiple people in the same threads added on as time goes on! A story -probably- about several bugs and the trials they'll go through! Will they survive? Maybe, *sniff*, maybe.

You believed that eternal meant what it was supposed to mean. The curtains closed and you and Grimm took your place ruling over Hallownest for a year, then a decade, and as time passed to you... It felt like just yesterday you and your love had saved the kingdom of bug and beast. Balancing the power of the land much like it had thousands of years prior. Hallownest was finally eternal... Well, no longer. With at least a month before Dusk is planned to marry Princess Elina of the Pyneroot Kingdom, you take time away to help your daughter Dawn learn the ways of the Dream Realm. Though to your fear, something is horribly wrong, and you begin to worry over the kingdom's safety. Can you and Grimm remember who you are deep down while also facing the demons of the past? Not just your own, but the past of the kingdom you now claim? As long as you work together, everything should be fine. Right?

This will be a second person story about a middle schooler who is tired of facing the same problems each and every day and wants something new to happen. They eventually gets that wish, though it wasn't like they expected. This was inspired by Vessels and Tears on Wattpad, but the (former) name is not at all linked to it, they just happened to be similar. I hope you enjoy!

DISCONTINUED It has been 2 years since the infection ended. the once quiet town of Dirtmouth has since grown into a thriving community. Monarch has been living there for only a few months, and has grown to enjoy not living in constant solitude. but little does he know, everything is about to change.
