After Ritchie died Devin and Eden became one and now Devin has no one ofcourse his friends are willing to help him but Devin doesn't trust them enough to say anything to open up. He is at his lowest and when he thinks that things can't get any worser for him a rift opens swallowing him whole Devin yelling as the last thing he saw when the rift swallowed him was his home falling apart quite literally everything was turning black.
