The school year 1898/99 promised to be the most remarkable one for young Albus Dumbledore for the infamous Triwizard Tournament was to be held between the most famous wizarding schools Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. His greatest aspiration had always been participating in the games-better yet, claiming victory. Such achievement would bring great honour to the Dumbledore name after his father had been confined to Askaban. Yet immediately upon entering Durmstrang, a fairly talented and rather handsome young wizard caught his interest; Gellert Grindelwald. Though, despite Gellert's troublesome reputation, Albus found himself intrigued by him all the same. A/n: English is not my mother tongue, and I find it fairly difficult to write in this old-fashioned language. The following chapters will therefore be composed in a more modern and simple way. Hope you don't mind.

A few moments of love and lost.

An alternative version of Crimes of Grindelwald. Gellert is struggling under the weight of his burdens, feeling more and more isolated and under pressure, his whole life disintegrates as one of his experiments gets out of hand. Now he's forced to live in a different country amongst the half-finished manuscripts of his great aunt. There is at least one glimmer of hope, a neighbour, Albus Dumbledore. This is a work of Fanfiction, many characters and locations belong to Warner Bros and J.K. Rowling.

This Fan fiction is about Grindelwalds daughter Avery Lilith who got to go to Hogwarts back when Albus Dumbledore was a teacher. Avery growed up being told that her mother left and was forever gone by her father. She is determined to find her mother and finally meet her no matter what gets in the way. while doing what her father tells her to do for the Greater good and change the future. Will she find her mother? Will she help her father to change the future? ( all credit goes to J. k. Rowling)
