Something is happening faraway in a region of space called the Xorthian Sector. Cybertronians are being targeted and disappearing. An unusually high number of Autobots are being found dead in what are being called "bizarre accidents". Stranger still, far too many of those same Autobots are undercover intelligence operatives for any sort of this to be a coincidence Due to a treaty, Autobots are prohibited from entering this dangerous region. Adding to the threat, highly volatile spacial rifts make traveling the sector even more treacherous. A familiar bot from Beachcomber's past is one of the Cybertronians trapped somewhere within the Xorthian Sector. Beachcomber and a ragtag gathering of other Autobots have chosen to renounce their allegiance and travel to the Xorthian Sector to save every Cybertronian they can, but the team will soon face treachery and will become cut off from help. Beachcomber and his group struggle to survive and complete their mission before they themselves are added to the growing list of casualties.
