She was born blind and her mother abandoned her due to this. She was later adopted by an assassin that trained her in sword fighting, when he died she left and became a mercenary. She later met a band called Vox machina, she joins them and go on odd jobs but after getting kicked out of a tavern they decide to separate and Cecilia knew she'd be alone again.
